What people are saying...
"Anthony Road Wine Company is a nice stop along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail! From their award winning wines to the beautiful facility, you won't be disappointed when you stop and do a tasting. It is a family owned and operated business and it shows.... well trained and friendly staff and always ready to help. You can relax out in back overlooking the vineyard and Seneca Lake or stroll through the great gardens, a really nice place to visit.... and don't forget to buy a little wine!"
"Friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff and the location is beautiful. The Gewurztraminer is absolutely delicious! We just had to get a bottle of it to take back home."
"All the wines I tasted were fantastic. I would stop here before going to any other wineries. From dry to sweet, they have a wine for every palate and grow all of their own grapes. A delightful patio overlooks the grapes and is a wonderful spot to sit and share a bottle."
"We always enjoy this winery! Tony's Red is always a great try and buy! A definite stop on Seneca Lake!"
"We used to stop at almost every winery up and down the road. This time we decided to be more selective. This was one of only six wineries we stopped at. It has yet to disappoint us."
"Great facility, great people, great wines. You can go and try other wines, but plan to enjoy your tasting and spend your money here. I am a white wine drinker, and recommend in this order...Chardonnay, Dry Riesling, Semi Dry Riesling"
"The guy pouring our tastings was hilarious. He had a one liner for everything and everyone. He was funny but also knew his wines, which were good."
"If you are looking for great Finger Lakes wine, make sure you stop! This was a great spot with friendly, knowledgeable staff and good wine. We spent a pleasant hour or so getting acquainted with the wine and buying a few bottles to take home."
"Always friendly and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful wine and pleasant staff. A great asset to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail."
"This was my favorite winery around this lake. Really good white wine, beautiful surroundings, and the friendliest staff we encountered. Also enjoyed their garden for walking around with a wine sample. This is the best place to spend a little time."
"We met a couple of newlyweds from New York at a winery in Louisville during Derby this year and we talked about our trip to the Finger Lakes and they said be sure to go to Anthony Road - they were right! Nice tasting room, not too crowded with people on a Tuesday. We liked the Devonian White and the Rose of Cabernet Franc and paid a little extra for the Vignoles Trockenbeeren- wow! We'll probably try to have some of these wines shipped to Texas when it gets a little cooler."
"This is a must stop if you're on Seneca Lake and want to visit a class operation and very good wine at a very reasonable price for tasting ,with A very approachable owner that will be happy to answer all your questions make sure you go and visit her garden in the back it's worth the trip just for the views I personally enjoyed there red wines and thought they were very reasonably priced compared to other wineries in the area."
"The staff was knowledgeable without being snooty. The had a good selection of wines to try. Also had suggestions for pairings. Definitely would go back."
"We were attracted the ARWC because we read about their NY Yankee's Dry Riesling Wine and we want to purchase a bottle for a die-hard Yankee fan. What a pleasant surprise when we bumped into their 25 anniversary celebration w/ food, music and of course wine tasting. Vey busy and pleasant experience starting with the greetings at the door. Definitely add this stop to your wine tasting experience."
"We loved the wines and the view. Staff were very friendly and happy to take time to answer questions and make recommendations. Lovey place to sit outside and have a glass of wine."
"The building itself is unqiue. The tasting room is bright and airy. The wines were very good. We really enjoyed the conversation with the person doing the pouring of the wine. Their unoaked Chardonney was excellent"
"From start to finish, a great experience. You walk through the doors to an amazing, breezy view and are then greeted by friendly, fun, personable staff. The wine was the best we had on our trip. We finished our time there with a stroll through the beautiful, peaceful garden taking in the amazing views. Overall, this place has it all and we would highly recommend it to anyone."
"This place is a must. I stopped by on a whim and was absolutely floored by how wonderful it was. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There's a large amount of wines to choose from, and I would struggle to name one I didn't like. The setting is really cute and calm. Love the plants.
I bought a lot more than I planned, but I absolutely don't regret it."
"Upon arrival you are greeted inside the door by friendly staff that explains what they offer as well as seating options. We chose to be outside where they had a food truck (there on a Saturday). They also have an area setup for Halloween that was pretty unique and worth the walk over to checkout.
One item that was really nice is they have an area with grape vines (labeled by variety). You can pick them off the vine and try them! The wines were refreshing and the stop enjoyable!"
"Hands down was an incredible experience the love and passion from this family is overwhelming the quality of their wines is superb. Liz was beyond the expectations her knowledge and personality makes the experience even better. We bought excellent wine that we can’t wait to drink with our friends- thanks guys"
